What to send for a quote
Drawing
PDF, STEP or DWG/DXF. Without a drawing, a dimensioned sketch or a photo of a sample tool also works.
Material
Workpiece material and hardness, e.g. stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, hardened steel (HRC).
Quantity
First order quantity and, if known, estimated annual demand.
Machine and holding
Machine type, tool holder, spindle speed and coolant (internal / external).
Coating
AlTiN, AlCrN, TiSiN, DLC or “please recommend”.
For regrinding
Tool type, quantity and a photo of the worn edges.
How to send it
For large files you can add a cloud sharing link (Google Drive, WeTransfer etc.) to your e-mail.
